How is Your Water Quality?

Water quality varies significantly from area to area. Some regions have raised levels of calcium and magnesium in their water due to the natural limestone geology. This is commonly called 'hard water' and causes many problems for businesses and households. The limescale formed 'sticks' to pipes, boilers, and all domestic appliances that heat water eventually leading to expensive repairs and replacement.

Hard water also manifests itself around sinks and baths leaving unsightly marks. Crockery and glassware will appear dull after washing and hair and laundry feel rough and harsh.

Bacteria, Viruses?

If bacteria, viruses, molds or yeast is a problem in your water, an ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system is the answer. UV disinfection of water kills 99.99% of many microorganisms, including ecoli, coliform and salmonella.

Lime scale?

Lime scale inhibitors, also known as water conditioners, remove calcium and magnesium from hard water, which will save you from expensive repairs and unsightly water marks. Odours?

If your water has an unpleasant odour or bad taste, a simple water filter kit is the answer. Many of the Liff water filter cartridges can remove bad taste and chlorine from your drinking water. Depending on your flow requirements, Liff have a range of high-flow water filters. A reverse osmosis water filtration system will also remove any bad taste from the water.
