Bacteria, Viruses?: If bacteria, viruses, molds or yeast is a problem in your water, an ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system is the answer. UV disinfection of water kills 99.99% of many microorganisms, including ecoli, coliform and salmonella.
Lime scale?: Lime scale inhibitors, also known as water conditioners, remove calcium and magnesium from hard water, which will save you from expensive repairs and unsightly water marks. Water conditioners can be used for a single appliance or as whole-house water filtration systems. We have a great range of Liff, AquaDial and Scalemaster lime scale inhibitors.
Odours?: If your water has an unpleasant odour or bad taste, a simple water filter kit is the answer. Many of the Liff water filter cartridges can remove bad taste and chlorine from your drinking water. Depending on your flow requirements, Liff have a range of high-flow water filters. A reverse osmosis water filtration system will also remove any bad taste from the water.
Unwanted particles?: Households have different problems, so Liff have a wide range of water filter cartridges to filter many elements from your water, such as limescale, bad taste and pesticides, to name a few. We offer complete drinking water filter kits with a drinking water tap. You can also can fit a whole-house water filtration system with a complete water filter kit. For the highest level of water filtration possible, try a reverse osmosis water filtration system.
Hard water?: We have a range of water softeners to solve your hard water problems. Both domestic and commercial water softeners are available. Water purification?: Spring or well water that needs purification for which Reverse Osmosis or ultraviolet (UV) disinfection is the most sought after product. Reverse Osmosis is available from Soft Clean Water with benefits such as production of virtually pure water, removal of most dissolved solids and heavy metals, reduction and removal most bacteria and many viruses.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to perform a pressure test and it MUST be carried out before you commence any further work. Low or high pressure could result in damage or non-operation of the water softener. Test the pressure with a gauge at the kitchen tap or outside tap. If in doubt we advise you to fit a pressure limiting valve. If daytime pressure is above 5 bar/72psi fit a pressure limiting valve. If daytime is less than 1.7 bar/25psi a pressure pump is required.
